6MP IR Panoramic – Cost-effective Alternative to the M4318-PLVE:

The Axis M4317-PLVE offers the same panoramic IR technology as the M4318-PLVE in a 6MP version: Sharpdome 360 for sharpness at the image edges, individually controllable IR LEDs for reflection-free images in darkness, and DLPU with Axis Object Analytics for vehicle type and person classification. The only difference is the lower resolution (6MP vs. 12MP) — for installations where panoramic IR coverage with deep learning analytics is required but maximum resolution is not a priority, the M4317-PLVE is the cost-effective choice.
