In earlier generations, ColorVu relied entirely on an extremely large lens aperture (F1.0) combined with a discreet warm white auxiliary light. ColorVu 3.0 builds on this strong foundation, but adds smart AI-powered image processing: HikAI-ISP.

1. HikAI-ISP (AI Image Processing)

With the introduction of HikAI-ISP, the camera analyzes and processes each frame in real-time using AI algorithms. This provides three major advantages:

• Extremely low noise: Noise in the dark is effectively filtered out without making the image blurry.

• No 'trail' with movement (Motion Trail Reduction): Fast-moving objects or people in the dark no longer blur, but remain sharp and recognizable.

• Improved WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): Bright street lighting or headlights no longer overexpose the image, while shadowy corners are brightly illuminated.

2. Super Confocal F1.0 Lens
